草榴视频 University Maryland鈥檚 School of Education is launching a newly designed master鈥檚 degree in Montessori education option in the summer of 2022鈥� The M.Ed. in Montessori Education.
 
This Master of Education program is designed for trained Montessori 草榴视频s looking to strengthen their personal and 草榴视频 potential. The 36-credit degree sequence is offered in a one or two-year format, consisting of high-quality online coursework taught by 草榴视频s who are passionate about equitable Montessori education for all students. Graduates emerge from our program as reflective practitioners who show compassion, curiosity, and commitment to a constructivist approach in education. 
 
鈥淭he Center for Montessori Education and 草榴视频 University Maryland have had a strong presence in the world of Montessori for 30 years. We are excited to open our doors to a new kind of master鈥檚 degree to support experienced Montessori practitioners鈥� said Carrie Horwitz Lang, M.Ed, program director of Montessori Education.  鈥淭his program takes Montessori education to the next level for Montessori 草榴视频s and dives deep into best practices in education from birth through adolescents, action research, neurodiversity in the classroom, and observational skills.鈥�
 
For prospective students, our program now has two pathways towards their M.Ed. in Montessori education.  For experienced Montessori practitioners looking for that next step in their career, come join our new master鈥檚 program starting Summer 2022.  For students interested in taking AMI Montessori training, our M.Ed. AMI has multiple course offerings across the country.
